Britten Steinfels Wins Monaco, Pulls Within One Point of Championship Lead

AlphaChampion scores first victory of 2026 as Ferrari claims its first constructor win of the season

The streets of Monte Carlo delivered one of the biggest shakeups of the 2026 Victory Lane Racing Formula One Series season as Britten Steinfels captured the Monaco Grand Prix, earning his fifth career F1 series victory and first win of the year. Steinfels led Ferrari to its first constructor victory of 2026 and propelled himself from sixth to second in the championship standings. The AlphaChampion driver now sits just one point behind Jamie Dyke in the title race after six races.

Behind Steinfels, Enda Mulcahy continued his remarkable turnaround with a runner-up finish for Lotus, while Andrew Thornton earned the first podium of his season with a third-place run for RAZOR Team Velocita. Championship leader Jamie Dyke delivered another consistent performance with a fourth-place finish, allowing PMG to extend its lead in the team standings. Meanwhile, one of the biggest stories of the day came from Greg Miller, who entered Monaco second in points but struggled to a 21st-place finish, falling to sixth in the standings and 20 points behind the championship lead.

The championship battle remains incredibly tight as only 15 points separate the top five drivers. Jamie Dyke leaves Monaco with a slim one-point advantage over Britten Steinfels, while Dawn Keller, Cody Zeeb, and Malachi Hammerle remain firmly in contention. In the team standings, PMG increased its advantage over Scarlet Speedworks to 23 points, while AlphaChampion's breakthrough victory moved the team into third. The constructor championship is equally close, with Honda holding a one-point edge over Renault, while Ferrari's Monaco victory moved it firmly into the championship conversation.
